Our neighborhood lies south of Ward and north of Rickard on the east side of Bend. The website will serve as an organization and communication hub for our private irrigation lateral (Arnold Irrigation District) as well as other purposes.

Related to Fire Management
SB 83: Legislation repeals the “Oregon Wildfire Hazard Map.” Many of the programs within SB762 (original bill containing the fire map) will be retained. SB83 has passed OR house and senate. Currently awaiting Governor’s signature.
SB 762: Legislation to “modernize and improve wildfire preparedness through three key strategies: creating fire-adapted communities, developing safe and effective response, and increasing the resiliency of Oregon's landscapes.”
Related to Irrigation/Water Use
Legislation establishes a “water bank” to allow users to ease restrictions on leasing unused water. Has passed OR house and senate. Currently awaiting Governor’s signature.
Decision ruled against the rights of irrigators in favor of the rights of the irrigation districts.
